What did I see through a mental exercise?
Okay. There’s an exercise I read about (don’t ask where or when… I’ve already tried to find out but can’t) that is used to find answers to questions, questions of a deep nature, like ethical questions or such. Well, to add a little bit of back story, this girl I had dated (subsequently had several strange encounters with) and I were closer than any girl I had ever dated and we were about 150 miles apart, leading to a strained relationship. This led me to look at some things that were strange in nature, and I delved deeper into the topics, looking at ESP, telepathy and the such.
One exercise I encountered was this: first you clear your mind, then you count backwards from ten to one to keep a clear mind, and then you visualize yourself falling and dropping onto a large, green leaf. Then, you have two options: you picture the person you want to see or touch (idk, don’t get weirded out) or you picture your issue in your mind, visualizing it clearly and holding it close and concentrating on it, and when you’re certain you’ve got hold of it strong enough, you count backwards from ten to one again, except the leaf shoots forwards towards these brilliant, deep red doors that seem to stretch into the heavens and into the bowels of hell. As you approach, the doors swing open and when you hit one, you visualize yourself entering into whatever lies beyond.
The first experience I had with this was when I was deciding on a career… I had done everything, thinking it wouldn’t work…when it did, or, at least, it seemed as if it had. Two of the most terrifying, yet seductive eyes I had ever seen appeared in front of me… They were the darkest red, and yet, they were still the most gorgeous color I had ever seen. There was a voice and it said, verbatim, "What do -you- want to do?" I just abruptly sat up and ended whatever it was.
I’m not sure what to think of it; ever since this event, a little over two years ago, that sense of deja vu that everyone seems to get? It almost feels like it’s been amplified or something. And I knew her boyfriend (at a different time) was cheating on her, and I knew the specific place and time. She was shocked I knew when she hadn’t even told me.
I don’t know what to do. I’m not looking for attention, nor for anyone telling me it was my imagination. Also, I’m not looking for God, or whoever. No… What I felt from whatever those eyes belonged to wasn’t malice, but it was clearly capable of it. I’m not crazy, and this girl, the one from above, she’s been the same as me. We still talk, and there are still the amazing coincidences that happen -all the time damn time- that we both chuckle nervously about.
Anyone… Can anyone help?
Don’t start hating because you think I’m faking this. I’m not. I’ve got no reason to.
No idea what you saw. Perhaps it was your spirit guide, or maybe it was just a manifestation of your subconscious. My personal opinion is that it’s whatever you want to think it was, and give credence to.
As for your "new" deja vu powers, it sounds like you might have tapped into your more psychic side. Your choice is to continue to listen to yourself and cultivate it if you like, or ignore it. If your friend is nervous about it, then just don’t tell her all the things you’re thinking. Otherwise, it’s pretty darn cool.

I’m sorry it isn’t what you want to hear, but there are no psychic experiences, apparently you had a waking dream…Again, sorry the truth isn’t what you want to hear…
